Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is located in east-central Pennsylvania and is the world’s first refuge for birds of prey. Hawk Mountain is open year-round where visitors may enjoy scenic vistas with 8-miles of ridge and valley trails along with a Visitor Center, Bookstore, and native plant garden, and each autumn, the chance to observe large numbers of hawks, eagles and falcons as they migrate past our lookouts. This is definitely a must visit opportunity if you’re staying with us!

Hershey Park in Hershey PA Whether you and your family are looking to ride the Roller Coasters or check out the Museums, view the Black Bears and others at ZooAmerica or watch a Ballet, there’s something FUN for everyone to do in Hershey, PA! You’ll learn the history of the town and the Man behind the Chocolate Bar, Milton S. Hershey. Then, enjoy the thrilling rides and attractions at the park he built as a place for his workers to relax! (Did you know that was how this park came to be?)

Area Attractions

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom – PA Amusement Park & Waterpark, with 200 acres of more than 100 rides, games, restaurants and attractions for the entire family. There are many haunted attraction experiences that include new attractions this year.

Knoebel’s Amusement Park. Strap in and get ready for some of the best amusement park rides anywhere! Looking to cool off this summer at a Pennsylvania water park? Look no further! Our water park has the Crystal Pool with waterslides and diving boards!

Ashland Pioneer Tunnel. A real anthracite coal mine, visitors are provided an opportunity to learn how anthracite coal is mined. It shows how a vein of coal lies between rock and strata; it has a gangway, manways, and chutes. Part of the Tunnel is timbered and part lies in solid rock and requires no timbering. Visitors ride into the Tunnel on mine cars rebuilt to carry passengers; the motive power is provided by an electric mine motor. Come join us and see how it works!

Crystal Cave. Famous Crystal Cave Park is an underground wonder located in Amish country, near Kutztown Pennsylvania.
